1 1/2 oz Plymouth Gin
1/4 oz Apricot flavored brandy
1/4 oz Maraschino liqueur
1/2 oz Fresh lemon juice
This cocktail from 1916 changed in the 1930s, going from a mixture of creme de violette to apricot brandy and in my opinion to the better.
Stir with lots of ice and doubble strain into a cocktail glass.
I dind’t have any marachinoi cherries available but if you do – sink one into the glass when presenting the drink.
