1 oz Gin
1 oz Brandy
1/2 oz Lime juice
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
4 oz Ginger beer

Build in a glass, add ice and stir. Garnish witha a cherry and a sprig of mint (I forgot the orange wedge).
Due to the recent events in Egypt I thought this cocktail would serve well, it was invented at Shepheard’s Hotel in Cairo ca 1950 and were originally named “Suffering Bar Steward” but someone must have missheard and the drink became known as “Suffering Bastard”. Cheers Egypt! Vive la révolution!
